Skullbones Creek

Skullbones Creek (also rendered Skullbone Creek) is a stream in Jefferson County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

Tradition has it a human skull was found along the course of Skullbones Creek, which accounts for the name.[2]

Also known as Camp Skull Bones it was used as a boy scout camp at times, it fell into disrepair. As of 2020 the cabins have been renovated and the pool restored. As well as the pool house with outdoor showers. The original pavilion is there and has been enhanced with indigenous red cedar. They have everything from camping to wedding events, a honeymoon suite to rent and even a sand volleyball court.
