Slaughterhouse Rulez
Slaughterhouse Rulez is a 2018 comedy horror film directed by Crispian Mills. Written by Mills and Henry Fitzherbert, the film's cast features Asa Butterfield, Finn Cole, Hermione Corfield, Michael Sheen, with Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. The film follows an illustrious British boarding school which turns into a battleground of survival after a mysterious sinkhole appears at a nearby fracking site, causing unspeakable horror to be released into the world.

Plot
Donald Wallace (Finn Cole), of humble background, enrols in Slaughterhouse, an exclusive public school, and struggles to fit in. The Headmaster (Michael Sheen) has authorised fracking on the grounds of raising money, and the mining process releases aggressive subterranean creatures. Wallace rallies a group of pupils to fight the monsters. The film ends with the monsters are defeated, the whole school exploded and the remained students walk away. Meanwhile, a survived Meredith and The Headmaster's dog witnesses the school being destroyed

Production
This is the first film from Stolen Picture, a film and TV production company formed by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.[1] The film is produced by Catalyst Global Media and Sony Pictures International, and was shot at Stowe School, Windsor Great Park and Chislehurst Caves among other locations.[2]
Reception
Critical response
The film received largely mixed to negative reviews from film critics. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 39% based on 33 reviews, with an average rating of 4.89/10. The website's critics consensus reads: "An uneven blend of horror and comedy that fails to satisfy on either front, Slaughterhouse Rulez aims for B-movie fun but doesn't make the grade."[5] The film generated revenue of £737,670 from cinemas worldwide.

The first trailer of the film was released online (initially via Twitter) on 9 August 2018.[6]
