KKR, a private equity firm, purchased a 25% stake in SoftwareONE in August 2015.[9]

In February 2019, SoftwareONE announced its completed acquisition of COMPAREX.[10] That same month, the company also acquired Singapore-based cloud-services provider, RightCloud.[11]

In October 2019, SoftwareONE completed an initial public offering at a US$2.82 billion valuation.[12]

In November 2019, SoftwareONE acquired BNW Consulting.[13]

In May 2020, SoftwareONE acquired GorillaStack, an Australian software company that developed a cloud cost management and real-time event monitoring SaaS platform for Amazon Web Services.[7][14]
