Together with the AJP (Australasian Journal of Philosophy), Sophia is one of the most prominent journals dedicated to philosophy that is based in Australasia (i.e. Australia, New Zealand, The Pacific, Singapore, & Hong Kong). True to the name, Sophia prides itself in its rigorously scholarly and analytical profile, which is reflected in the international composition of its editors and editorial board, as well as the diverse philosophical traditions in which the conversations take place, ranging from Analytic, Continental, to Asian/Cross-cultural, Feminist and Indigenous concerns. Anyone sufficiently qualified in the fields covered by Sophia is welcome to submit an article or book review or review note (which will be peer reviewed; Sophia's rejetcion rate is rather high). Publishers are invited to send books and e-matter for review to the Book Reviews Editor (above). Reviewers for submitted papers in particular fields of interest are invited to submit their names to Sophia's database via the Editorial Manager.
