Founder and beginnings
Sree Vidyanikethan International School is the unit of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust (SVET), established in 1992 by Dr M. Mohan Babu, who hailed from a middle-class family with his father Narayana Swamy Naidu being a teacher in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Although he loved acting, Mohan Babu joined the Physical Education department in a school. He later realized it wasn't what he'd wanted and thus, began his acting career. He served a term in the Rajya Sabha and was awarded the Padma Shree in 2007 for his contributions to the arts.[2][3]
Sree Vidyanikethan International School started as a small school in 1993 and has now expanded to have more than 1200+ students from various regions of the country.
