It was operated by Edmund Gaynes (born 1947) and West End Artists Company from 2006 until 2020. Prior to 2006, Entertainment Events managed the space for the church.
St. Luke's Theatre was founded by former Pastor Dale Hansen, in the early 1990s.
The theatre and office spaces were closed for renovation during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City and are to reopen when the pandemic is over.
