St. Mary's Stadium-Kitende

St. Mary's Stadium-Kitende is a Ugandan and the main home hosting sports stadium for the Sports Club Vipers SC, a football club playing in Uganda's top league Uganda Premier League.[1] It has the capacity of over 25000 people with over 1000 seats for VIP. On 3 March 2017, the African football governing body, CAF, cleared the then newly constructed St Mary's Stadium to host football games.[2] St. Mary's stadium is a home of SC Vipers, located in Kitende on Entebbe Road and was built by the club patron and former FUFA president, Lawrence Mulindwa.

The stadium is considered as one of the best stadia in East Africa privately owned and even the public owned. It is the first ever artificial turf pitch stadium to be established in Uganda and East Africa as a whole. The Vipers SC management has always tried to improve it to make it able to host all African competitions. It has reduced on the unemployment in the Country Uganda by employing some individuals to keep looking, cleaning the stadium.[3] It is the second largest stadium in Uganda next to Mandela National Stadium.[4]
