St Andrews (Old) railway station

St Andrews railway station, also known as St Andrews Links, Links Station or Old Station,[1] served the town of St Andrews, Fife, Scotland from 1852 to 1887 on the St Andrews Railway.

History

The station opened on 1 July 1852 by the St Andrews Railway. It closed to passengers on 31 May 1887 but became a goods shed after closure. A signal box, also called St Andrews Links, opened to the north around this time which closed in 1957.[1]
