Stephen E. Farmen

MG Farmen graduated from the University of Richmond, Richmond, VA, in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and was commissioned into the Transportation Corps. He received a master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2001. His research paper was entitled Network Centric (NETCENTRIC) Warfare (NCW): A Logistics Centric (LOGCENTRIC) Perspective.[1][2] His military education includes the Transportation Basic and Advanced Courses and the United States Naval Command and Staff College. He completed a Senior Service College Fellowship as the first military fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for Transportation and Logistics. In addition, he attended the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA.
