Steve Marchena

Steve Marchena (born 1970) is an American classical, rock and jazz guitarist. He has toured Canada, The United States and Europe as a solo artist and as a founding member of both Hypaspace, The Back Bay Guitar Trio and The Acoustic Led Zeppelin Tribute Orchestra Project, also known as TALZTOP.[1][2] Steve has taught guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA during their summer program and is currently guitar instructor in residence at Bentley University in Waltham, MA, where he recently received the "Outstanding Arts Instructor Award".

Marchena grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts and began playing guitar at the age of 15. He later became a student at Berklee, where he graduated with honors.

He has shared the stage with Al Di Meola, Nuno Bettencourt, Harvey Reid, J. Geils and many other famous guitarists. In addition he has toured with musical theater productions such as: Beehive, Leader Of The Pack, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Footloose, A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, Always... Patsy Cline.
