Stomopteryx sphenodoxa

Stomopteryx sphenodoxa is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found in India.[1]

The wingspan is about 9 mm. The forewings are dark bluish fuscous with a triangular whitish-ochreous spot on the costa beyond the middle. The hindwings are dark grey.

The larvae feed on Crotalaria species. They mine the leaves of their host plant.[2]
