Overview

Vickers gained inspiration after working as a dry stone waller. He began leaving small stone faces on his work so that people would recognize it. An early example of this can be found on a wall in Ecclesfield near St. Mary's Church, which Vickers rebuilt in 2002.[6]

The Stoneface Creative Woodland Gallery is an open-air sculpture park located in the hamlet of Storrs near Stannington and Loxley.[7][8][9][10]
