Subhangi

In the Hindu mythology, Subhangi is mentioned in the ancient Mahabharata epic as the one of the wives (probably the fourth) of famed warrior Karna.

History

In Mahbharata, Karna saves princess Subhangi from an uncontrolled chariot, and they fall in love. Shubhangi's parents initially disapprove of their romance, but eventually they accept, and the couple get married.[1]
