Outline

The bus terminal is located near Itako IC on Higashi-Kantō Expressway. The bus terminal used to be Suigo-Itako bus stop by the wayside ,was passed through by highway bus Kashima(Tokyo StationKashima-Jingu Station).The bus stop has moved present spot since 2002, because increased demand for developing by Itako, Ibaraki. At present, there are a lot of passengers who go to the direction of Tokyo Station.[2]

Now, there are 5 highway bus routes (For Tokyo Station, Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, Kaihin Makuhari StationTokyo Disney ResortOdaiba) and two route buses (For Kashima, Namegata), moreover there are parking areas nearby the terminal.

The Iris Festival around Suigo-Itako which is held between May and June every year has been held since 1952. The Suigo-Itako Ayame park which is held the festival is nearby this bus terminal.
