Sunflowers (band)
Sunflowers is a Sri Lankan pop band[1][2] established in the early 1980s, lead by Neil Warnakulasooriya.[3]The band's name, "Sunflowers," was reportedly given by veteran Sri Lankan musician, Clarence Wijewardena.[4][5]
Career
Sunflowers performed their first show on September 4, 1983 in Dankotuwa. The original band consists with Neil Warnakulasooriya, Nelson Vas, Ivor de Mel, Mahinda Silva and Athula Adhikari.[6]
