Sunitha Tati

Sunitha Tati is a Telugu film producer, who produces her movies under Guru Films Pvt Ltd banner. She has worked with Daggubati Suresh Babu [2] and also teamed up with Gautham Menon for other movies, including Courier Boy Kalyan and Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo.[3]

Early life

Ms. Tati was born and brought up in Vijayawada. She completed her bachelor's degree in business management from George Mason University and went on to do her PG course in film-making from New York University.[4]

Career

Before starting out in the Telugu movie industry, she worked in TV9 (Telugu) as well as Radio Mirchi.[5] She worked under Daggubati Suresh Babu of Ramanaidu Studios and worked as an assistant director of various movies including Malliswari (2004 film), Jayam Manadera and Nagesh Kukunoor’s Hyderabad Blues.[6][7]

In 2016, she worked with Gautham Menon as a producer for Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and also its Telugu version Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo.[8] She produced Oh! Baby starring Samantha Akkineni and Lakshmi (actress), along with People’s Media Productions and Suresh Productions and it was directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy.

Her next movie is directed by Sudheer Varma, is a remake of the Korean movie Midnight Runners, starring Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas as cops.[9]

Other Work

Apart from movies, she is an active Rotarian and, Trustee and founder member of Support Cancer Awareness Foundation, a NGO based in Hyderabad.[10]
