Svetlina Stoyanova
Svetlina Stoyanova is a Bulgarian operatic mezzo-soprano. She won the first prize at the 2017 Neue Stimmen international singing competition and is currently a member of the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera.

Early life and education
As a child, Stoyanova sang as the main soloist in the Bulgarian National Radio Children's Choir under the tutelage of Hristo Nedyalkov for 9 years, and went on concert tours in Europe and Asia.[1]
Stoyanova moved to Scotland in 2010 and enrolled in the University of Glasgow. Initially, she studied psychology at the University of Glasgow but ultimately decided to change university courses and continue her studies as a vocal student.[2]
She graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018, where she obtained a Masters of Opera and a Masters and BMus of performance.[3]
Career
Stoyanova won the first prize in the 2017 Neue Stimmen, the first prize in the 2016 Elgar Spedding Memorial Prize, and the third prize in the 2016 Le Grand Prix Opera in Romania. She is a member of Live Music Now and has performed as a soloist at charity concerts in aid of the organisation and recitals sponsored by the organisation.[4][5]
