Swimming at the 2005 Maccabiah Games – Women's 200 metre backstroke

The women's 200 metre backstroke event at the 2005 Maccabiah Games took place on 10 July, at the Wingate Institute. This swimming event used the backstroke. Because an Olympic size swimming pool is 50 metres long, this race consisted of four lengths of the pool.

One heat was held. The heat in which a swimmer competed did not formally matter for advancement. The swimmers with the eight fastest times again advanced to the finals; there, they all competed in a single final heat to earn final placements. In this case, all swimmers progressed to the finals.
