History

The company was founded in 1982 by Kenneth D. Tuchman, who is the company's chairman and CEO.[7] In 1986, the company moved to Sherman Oaks, California.

By 1995, it had added call centers in other states. In 1996 it completed its IPO.[8]

In 2010, acquired an 80 percent stake in the management consulting firm Peppers & Rogers Group.[9]

In 2018, TeleTech announced its name change to TTEC.

In 2020, TTEC acquired intelligent automation CX provider Serendebyte[10] and Amazon Web Services partner VoiceFoundry.[11]
