Tanya Maniktala
Tanya Maniktala (born 1997 or 1998)[1] is an Indian actress.[2] She stars as Lata Mehra in BBC Television's adaptation of Vikram Seth's novel A Suitable Boy.[1][3][4] She also appeared as Ishita in the Indian online series Flames.[5]

Early life
She studied from St. Francis De Sales School, Janakpuri.[5] She became interested in acting while a student at the Shivaji College,[3] from which she graduated with a degree in English literature in 2018. She was working as an advertising copywriter[1] when she was asked by a friend to audition for a new production, unaware that the show involved was A Suitable Boy.[3] It is only her second on-screen role.
