Tatyana Klimchuk

Tatyana Klimchuk or Tatyana Sokirko (Татьяна КЛИМЧУК or Татьяна Сокирко; born September 1991) is a Kazakhstani former long track speed skater, who was active between 2005 and 2018.[1]

Klimchuk represented her nation at international competitions. As a junior she became four times national junior champion and participated at the 2009, 2010 and World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At the 2009 Championships she was part of the Kazakhstani team setting a world junior record in the team pursuit. At elite level, she competed at ISU Speed Skating World Cups events between the 2008-09 season and 2016-17 season. With the Kazakstani team she holds still the Kazakstani speed skating record in the team pursuit. She participated at the 2011 Asian Winter Games in the 500 metres event (finishing 8th), 1500 metres event (finishing 9th), 1500 mass start event (finishing 11th) and team pursuit event (finishing 4th).[2] She also competed at other international competitions, including at 2017 Winter Universiade.[2]

Between 2006 and 2018 she had a total of 54 starts at national championships. She became 12 times national champion. Furthermore, she won 18 silver and 8 bronze medals at national championships.[2]
