Teejay Sidhu

Teejay Sidhu (born 22 January 1980) is a Canadian actress, television host and radio personality. She has appeared primarily in Punjabi films and Indian television shows.[2]

Career

Sidhu started her acting career with an appearance in the television series Shararat. She made her Punjabi film debut with Tera Mera Ki Rishta. She appeared on the Punjabi television show Kinna Sohna Tennu Rab Ne Banaya. She came to prominence after working in the stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 5.

Sidhu is also a trained Ghoomar dancer and a theater artist.[3]

She is also a radio jockey for the channel Radio One.[4]

Early & Personal life

Sidhu was born on 22 January 1980 in Sagarpur, Punjab, India to Kewal Singh Sidhu and Surinder Sidhu into a Punjabi Sikh family. She also has a brother Min Sidhu and a sister Devinder Sidhu. Her parents moved to Vancouver, Canada when she was still a kid. She finished her education from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Burnaby and is a graduate in Broadcast of Communications. She is also a trained Ghoomar dancer.

On 3 November 2006, Sidhu married Indian television and film actor Karanvir Bohra. On 19 October 2016, she gave birth to twin daughters named Raya Bella Bohra and Vienna Bohra. On the occasion of her husband Karanvir's 38th birthday the couple announced that they were expecting their third child. The couple welcomed their third daughter on 20 December 2020.
