Temple Ohev Sholom (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)
Temple Ohev Sholom, established in 1853, is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States and its surrounding area.[1] It was established as an Orthodox congregation. In 1867, it became a Reform congregation.[1]
Rabbis
Rabbi Peter Kessler is the current rabbi of Ohev Sholom, becoming rabbi in 2001. He succeeded Rabbi Daniel Weiner, who became senior rabbi at Temple De Hirsch Sinai in Seattle, Washington.
