Genera
Genera within the family Terebrellidae include:
- Terebrella Andreae, 1887[3] is the type genus of the family Terebrellidae, it is a junior homonym of Terebrella Maltzan, 1886.[2][4]
- Trypetes Tomlin, 1929[5] is a nomen novum for Terebrella Andreae, 1887. Trypetes Tomlin, 1929 is also a homonym, so another nomen novum has been established: Diatrypesis Tomlin, 1929[6] is a nomen novum for Trypetes Tomlin, 1929.
- Kaim (2004) classified the genus Diatrypesis in an uncertain family within the Cerithioidea.[7]
