That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a 2018 television anime series based on the light novel series written by Fuse. The series follows a man who is killed and reincarnated in another world as a slime named Rimuru. The series is animated by Eight Bit with the staff and cast members reprising their roles.[1] The second season has been announced, and was scheduled to premiere in October 2020 but has been delayed to January 12, 2021 due to COVID-19.[2][3][4][5] The second season is a split-cour anime and the second half was slated to air in April 2021 but has been pushed to July 2021.[6] The opening theme song is "Storyteller" performed by TRUE,[7] and the ending theme song is "STORYSEEKER" performed by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION.[8] The Anime is streaming in Asia (select regions) through Muse Asia YouTube Channel.
