Development and Marketing
The game was to be released in October 1997.[3][4] The game was originally in development by both Centropolis and Bethesda but during development Centropolis chose to stop working on the game due to Centropolises commitments on their films.[4] Players who preorder the game would receive a copy of XCar: Experimental Racing.[5]
