The Barking Murders

The Barking Murders is a television series slated to air on BBC One. Stephen Merchant will portray murderer Stephen Port in the series.[1] Sheridan Smith will play Sarah Sak, the mother of Anthony Walgate, one of Port's victims.[2]

Storyline

The Barking Murders is a drama that tells the story of four victims of Stephen Port identified as Anthony Walgate, Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth, and Jack Taylor. It is a story that also portrays the courage, struggles, fears and hope of their families and friends who worked tirelessly to find out what happened to them.[3]

In November 2016, Stephen Port received a life sentence with a whole life order.[4]
