The Dean Ween Group

The Dean Ween Group is an American rock band formed by Ween guitarist Mickey Melchiondo Jr. Following the departure of Ween front man Gene Ween in 2012, Melchiondo and his former bandmates created The Dean Ween Group.[1] The group played their first round of shows in 2014 and released their debut album in 2016, titled The Deaner Album.[2][3] The group consists of Dean Ween, Claude Coleman Jr., Glenn McClelland, Dave Dreiwitz, and have also toured with Bill Fowler, Sim Cain, and Guy Heller among others.[4] Their 2018 album rock2 features a reworked version of Don't Let the Moon Catch You Crying which was originally featured on The Caesar Demos, a compilation album of demos from Ween's 2003 album Quebec.
