The Rwenzori Times[2] (abbreviated as RT) is an independent, first ever and biggest news website and magazine in Rwenzori region. The news website and magazine are owned and published by the Rwenzori Times Media Limited, with its offices and printing on Stanley Street, in the Central Town of Kasese, Uganda.

The Rwenzor Times' magazine which was first launched in May 2016 has the second-largest circulation, behind The Independent Magazine - Uganda, and the largest circulation among the districts of Rwenzori with over 10,000 copies being sold daily.

The Rwenzori Times is ranked 1st in Rwenzori by online readership with more than 1,000,000 online readers across the world.

The head office of The Rwenzori Times and the Rwenzori Times Media Limited, is located at Plot 21, Stanley Street (Rwenzori Road) in the Central Town of Kasese, Uganda's second largest industrial city.[3]

Overview

Rwenzori Times Media Limited, the publishers of the magazine and news website is a Ugandan registered media company with Wesley Spartan [4] as the Founder and CEO. He also doubles as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine.

The Rwenzori Times was founded in April 2015 as a News Website and launched its Magazine in May 2016 that sold up to 2,000 copies in its first week.

The independent ownership of the website and a team of dedicated young journalists have made it the most visited News Website and read magazine within the several districts that make up Rwenzori region including Kasese, Kabarole, Ntoroko, Bundibugyo, Kamwenge, Kyegegwa and Uganda as a country.

The Rwenzori Times seeks to serve as a medium of information exchange from/and about Rwenzori to the world.
