The Settlers (upcoming video game)
The Settlers is an upcoming real-time strategy city-building game, part of The Settlers series. The idea is to make the game familiar to those who already know the series, but also bring The Settlers up to today's visual and gameplay standards.[2]

The game was announced at Gamescom 2018, with Blue Byte using the proprietary Snowdrop Engine to develop the game.[3] It was originally slated for release on Microsoft Windows in 2019.[4] It was then rescheduled for the third quarter of 2020, but in July 2020, the game's release was postponed indefinitely and preorders were refunded.[5]
