Thymiatris cephalochra

Thymiatris cephalochra is a moth in the family Xyloryctidae. It was described by Oswald Bertram Lower in 1894. It is found in Australia,[1] where it has been recorded from New South Wales and Queensland.

The wingspan is about 45 mm. The forewings are dark fuscous, mixed with ashy grey and with the veins outlined with fuscous. There is a large suffused discal spot in the middle of the wing, as well as a yellowish hindmarginal streak or line, dotted with fuscous. The hindwings are dark fuscous with a narrow yellowish hindmarginal streak hardly reaching the anal angle, broadest at the apex.[2]
