Timothy Innes
Timothy Innes is an English actor, who has appeared in films including The Sense of an Ending and Daphne in 2017, in 2018, The Favourite and Ashes in the Snow . On television, Innes has appeared as Benjamin Lennox in Harlots and as King Edward in the medieval drama series The Last Kingdom. [2]

Education
Innes attended St Francis of Assissi Primary School in Southgate, Crawley, West Sussex and then St Wilfrid's Catholic School in Crawley, achieving GCSE for Drama and GCE Advanced Level in Theatre Studies.[1] Innes furthered his acting study at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School for 3 years between 2012 and 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting.[3][4]
Career
After graduating, Innes appeared in several feature films, The Sense of an Ending and Daphne in 2017,[3] The same year, Innes landed a recurring role as Benjamin Lennox in six episodes of the ITV period drama series Harlots.[3] In 2018, Innes appeared as Nojus in the movie Ashes in the Snow.[3] In 2018, Innes was given a small part in the feature film The Favourite,[5] who won the Academy Award for Best Actress.[6]The Favourite received multiple awards and nominations, and won two Venice International Film Festival awards: the Grand Jury Prize [7] It also won 10 British Independent Film Awards, including Best British Independent Film; It was nominated for ten Oscars at the 91st Academy Awards—including Best Picture as the most-nominated film of that year.[6]
In 2018, Innes landed his first major role as Prince Edward, later Edward the Elder (King Edward) in series 3 and 4 of the medieval drama series The Last Kingdom from 2018 to present.[8][9][10]
Music and sports
In his spare time, Innes is a drummer [11] for his brothers band `Joe Innes & The Cavalcade’, a post-Brexit indie-folk band from London, formed by singer/songwriter Joe Innes.[12]
Innes is a highly skilled fencer, as shown in various sword fighting scenes in The Last Kingdom.[13][14]
