Tino Anjorin

Faustino Adebola Rasheed Anjorin (born 23 November 2001) is an English professional footballer of Nigerian descent who plays as a midfielder for Chelsea.

Club career

Anjorin joined Chelsea's development centre programme at under-7 level, officially signing with the club at under-9 level. On 30 April 2018, Anjorin scored in the second leg of Chelsea's 2017–18 FA Youth Cup win against Arsenal.[3] On 25 September 2019, Anjorin made his debut for Chelsea in a 7–1 EFL Cup win against Grimsby Town.[4] On 8 December 2020, Anjorin was named in the starting line-up for Chelsea's final UEFA Champions League group stage match which ended in a 1–1 home draw against Krasnodar.[5] Anjorin came on as a substitute for Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 80th minute of Chelsea's FA Cup tie against Morecambe on 10th January 2021.

International career

Anjorin has dual international eligibility. Born in Poole on the south coast of England he is a youth international for England having represented that nation at U17, U18 and U19 levels. He is still eligible to play for Nigeria through his Nigerian father.[6]
