Tommy's Tale

Tommy's Tale is a novel written by the actor Alan Cumming, centering on the life of a bisexual London resident named Tommy. The book is a first-person narrative, and revolves around an early mid-life crisis triggered when Tommy "accidentally" proclaims his love for his friend-with-benefits, Charlie, when high on ecstasy. Film Reference

The book makes an appearance in Alan Cumming's 2001 film The Anniversary Party in a scene where novelist Joe Therrian (played by Cumming) is asked by neighbor and party guest Monica Rose (played by Mina Badie) to autograph her copy of "his" novel Tommy's Tale.
