As of October 2020, he was the #7 ranked Bantamweight in the world by Combat Press.[2]

Kickboxing career

Yokoyama made his professional debut in March 2016, winning a decision against Tadakatsu.[3] He won his second fight against Yoshifumi Fujita by decision as well.[4]

He suffered his first professional loss to SHUN JANJIRA in April 2017, losing by unanimous decision.[5]

Yokoyama would then go on a four fight winning streak, defeating Kazuma Kubo, Yuya and Yuto Saito by TKO,[6][7] as well as winning an extra round decision against Takuma Kawaguchi.[8]

His four fight winning streak was snapped during Krush 104, as he lost a decision to Taio Asahisa.[9]

He won a unanimous decision against Chihiro Nakajima during Krush 111.[10] Yokoyama was scheduled to fight Yuma Saikyo during Krush 117.[11] He won the fight by unanimous decision.[12] Yokoyama was then scheduled to fight TETSU at K'Festa 4.[13] The event was later rescheduled for March 31, 2021.[14]
