Toytown techno

Toytown techno (also known as kiddy rave or cartoon rave[1]) was a subgenre of early 1990s techno, characterised by merging techno, oldskool jungle, or breakbeat hardcore with samples from children's programmes or public information films. Popular songs within the subgenre include Mark Summers's "Summers Magic", Smart E's "Sesame's Treet", The Prodigy's "Charly", and Urban Hype's "A Trip to Trumpton",[2] which featured samples from The Magic Roundabout, Sesame Street, Charley Says, and Trumpton, respectively.
