Trephionus
Trephionus is a genus of beetles in the family Carabidae, containing the following species:[1] Five new species were described in 2018 from Japan.[2]

Description
All the species are reddish brown to black in color with shiny surface. Mouthpart appendages and antennae yellowish to reddish brown. Legs light to blackish brown. No hind wings. Eyes less convex. Pronotum moderately convex. Elytra oblong and moderately convex.
