Tropical Storm Florence

The name Florence was used for ten tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, and five tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. For being used ten times, the name Florence is the second most used Atlantic hurricane name on record, only behind Arlene.

Atlantic

After the 2018 season, the World Meteorological Organization retired the name Florence from its rotating name lists, and it will not be used again for another Atlantic hurricane. It will be replaced with Francine for the 2024 season.
