Tropical Storm Ivan

The name Ivan was used for three tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, one in the western Pacific Ocean, one in the southwest Indian Ocean, and one in the southwest Pacific Ocean.

Atlantic

The name Ivan was retired after the hurricane of 2004 and was replaced by Igor for the 2010 season.

Western Pacific
  • Typhoon Ivan (1997) (T9723, 27W, Narsing) – Typhoon Ivan is notable for becoming a super typhoon in tandem with Typhoon Joan. Typhoon Ivan (called Narsing by Filipino authorities) struck the Philippines, causing 1 death.
Southwestern Indian Ocean
  • Cyclone Ivan (2008) – An Intense Tropical Cyclone that made landfall on Madagascar in February 2008, killing 93.
