Tu cara me suena (American TV series)
Tu cara me suena is an American Spanish-language reality singing series that premiered on Univision on October 4, 2020. It is based on both the Endemol format Your Face Sounds Familiar and an adaptation of the Spanish "Tu cara me suena," the latter of whose title translated as Your face is familiar to me.[1] The show is hosted by actress Ana Brenda Contreras, alongside Rafael Araneda.[2]

On October 16, 2020, it was announced that production of the series was suspended due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in its contestants.[3][4] The series returned on November 8, 2020.[5]
Development
The American-Spanish language version was announced by Univision. The show was to take over the Sunday 8pm/7c slot, replacing "¿Quién es la máscara?". In this show, 8 celebrities will compete in a song and dance number while impersonating iconic singers. Each week, the "Randomizer" will assign the artists of whom they will impersonate. When the randomizer is pressed, the icon the contestant is assigned will be shown, along with a preview of the song they have to perform.[6] The judges award points to each performance and celebrities can also give points to fellow participants. The celebrity with the most points will be declared the winner of the night and receive a prize for the charity they represent. The winner of the season will receive the biggest prize for their charity.

- On October 7, 2020, Llane announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic.[10] He performed remotely from his home.[11]
