Ultimate Tag (Australian TV series)

Ultimate Tag is an upcoming Australian sports entertainment obstacle course competition based on the American series. Following the premise of the original version, The format is based on the game of tag, known as tips in Australia, and involves contestants running through various indoor obstacle courses while professional taggers attempt to catch them.

Abbey Gelmi and Matt Shirvington will host the series with Bill Woods as commentator.

Taggers so far announced from the trailer are Dominator, Eagle, Spitfire and Hollywood. A second trailer revealed twin Taggers; Razor and Rapid. Others videos have revealed Taggers Hammer and Supernova.

Production

In July 2020, it was announced that Seven Network had purchased the rights to the series and would will making their own version of the show for Australian audiences in 2021.[1][2][3] Auditions were open between July & August 2020.[4][5][6] The series was officially confirmed by Seven at their annual upfronts in October 2020, it will be hosted by Abbey Gelmi and Matt Shirvington with Bill Woods as commentator and will be produced by Endemol Shine Australia.[7][8][9]
