Umrao Singh Bhati
Umrao Singh Bhati, also known as Umrao Singh, was a notable Gurjar king during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He belonged to Bulandshahr, currently a part of Bulandshahr district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. He led a select band of armed soldiers against the troops under the command of the British East India Company. He was the chief organiser of the fight against the British in Bulandshahr and Gautam Budh Nagar[1][2] [3][4]
