Union of Hungary and Romania

The union of Hungary and Romania (Hungarian: Magyarország és Románia uniója; Romanian: Unirea României și Ungariei) refers to the unsuccessful attempts to unify the Kingdom/Republic of Hungary and the Kingdom of Romania made during the 20th century, in the interwar period. Proposals were the most active in 1919 and 1920, but they appeared a bit earlier and continued to have some relevance up to World War II.[1][2][3]
