Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel is a brand belonging to the Spanish Palladium Hotel Group. The brand was founded in 2011 after the meeting of Abel Matutes and Yann Pissenem.[1] The brand counts 2 hotels: The first one is called The Ushuaïa Club opened in 2011 in the Balearic island of Ibiza. The second hotel called The Ushuaïa Tower opened the year after in 2012. Both hotels are situated in Platja d'en Bossa, Ibiza and have 415 rooms between them.[2]

Ushuaïa is ranked one of the world's best clubs by DJ Magazine, where it has enjoyed a top ten standing since 2015. The club has a capacity of 4,000 people, and is one of the biggest clubs in Ibiza. One feature of the hotel is that some of the rooms have their balcony directly overlook the club's dance floor. The club has been host to many celebrity DJs including Carl Cox, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Avicii, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Calvin Harris, and many others.[3]

History

In July 2019, the club hosted Swedish House Mafia during their Save the World Reunion Tour,[4][5] after the group announced the date in April earlier in the year.[6][7][8] The club was previously called Hotel Fiesta Club until it was transformed into Ushuaïa.

Hï Ibiza

After the closure of Space in 2016, Ushuaïa Entertainment bought the club and reopened it a year later under the name Hï Ibiza. The clubhouse contains a club and a theatre plus three open air areas. Notable artist who have performed at the nightclub include David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Mark DJ, Eric Prydz, Glitterbox, and Black Coffee.[22][23] In 2018, Hï Ibiza hosted the 20th anniversary of the DJ Awards.[24]
