V. V. Vinayak

Gandrothu Veera Venkata Vinayaka Rao (born 9 October 1974), better known as V. V. Vinayak, is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu Cinema. Known for making masala and action comedy films,[4][5] Vinayak made his film debut with the 2002 melodrama film Aadi starring NTR Jr. which was a commercial success.[6][7]

Vinayak received the state Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director for his work in the film. The film was subsequently remade in Tamil as Jai.[8] In 2003, Vinayak directed two major box office hits Dil and Tagore starring Chiranjeevi. Tagore was screened at the 2006 IIFA Awards held in Dubai.[9] In 2013, Vinayak directed a Short film to promote Organ Donation.[10]
