It has market capitalization of approximately Rs. 26.95 billion.[2] The company wholly owns Hayleys Group (51.01%), LB Finance, Royal Ceramics Lanka, Delmege Limited and The Kingsbury Hotels. Company nominated S&P SL 20 index in 2018.[3]

History

The Vallibel One PLC, founded by Sri Lanka business tycoon Dhammika Perera in 2010. On 2010 Company acquisition of Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC, LB Finance PLC, and Greener Water Limited as its subsidiary companies and a stake in Sampath Bank as a long-term strategic investment. Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC was listed under Forbes “Asia’s Best Under a Billion” during the year. On 2011 Vallibel One PLC acquired Delmege Group, a highly diversified conglomerate. Company moved headquarters to new 16 story building Kollupitiya. Company awarded LMD as the most respected finance company in Sri Lanka in 2019. Company rich fastest cross Rs. 1 billion in mid 2019.[4] In 2014 Australian gambling tycoon James Packer's Crown Casino start joint venture project with Vallibel Company it's value more than US$300 million but project reject Government of Sri Lanka.[5] Dhammika Perera bought majority stake Hayleys Group bought in 2015 and company under the subsidiary of Vallibal One.[6] Sri Lanka's Fortress Resorts subsidiary of Vallibal One to build Rs 2 billion 5 star hotel in Weligama.[7] Company to construct US US$60 million integrated five star resort in Negombo. The project subsidiary Greener Water and Singapore-based WATG carried out the initial designs.[8] LB Finance started in 2011.[9] LB Finance records Rs 7.8 billion in 2018.[10] Third largest private bank Sampath Bank Vallibel One held 15% percent stake.[11]

Ceramics industry

Vallibal One main resource of ceramics products. Royal Ceramics Dhammika Perera early start-up company. It's Sri Lanka leading tile manufacture. Company establishment in 1990. First factory located in Eheliyagoda. Royal Ceramics lunch under the trade name of "Rocell". This was followed by the commencement of Royal Porcelain (Pvt) Limited in 2002, Rocell Bathware in 2009 and the acquisition of Lanka Ceramics in 2013 through which the brand ‘Lanka Tiles’ became part of the Rocell Group of Companies, further strengthening the Group is competitive position in the tile industry. Rocell received the CNCI Award in 2019. Royal Ceramics revenue rise to Rs. 31.5 billion in end of 2019. Rocell Sri Lanka one of most best Sri Lanka brand received in 2018.[12]
