Victor José Esquinas Torres

Víctor José Esquinas Torres (born 17 August 1960 Madrid, Spain) was a Spanish international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 5 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1995–2005. He attributed two EURO qualifying matches in EURO 2000 Albania-Greece (0:0) and EURO 2004 Germany-Lithuania (1:1)[2] and others were in friendly matches. He gave a red card in friendly match played between Portugal and Greece in 2003 to Greek Giorgos Karagounis.[3] He also attributed two Euro U21 qualifying matches.

In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League qualification (3), Europa League and qualification (10+3) and Intertoto Cup (4). He also attributed 39 Copa del Rey matches around 1993–2006.[4]
