Vikas Sharma

Vikas Sharma (15 February 1980 – 4 February 2021) was an Indian journalist, news presenter and news anchor.[1] He is best known for hosting prime time show Yeh Bharat Ki Baat Hai on Republic Bharat.[2][3]

Early life and education

Sharma was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his school education from Scared Heart Higher Secondary School, Sitapur. He graduated in B.Sc degree from Kanpur University, Later he moved to Noida for higher studies. Eventually he enrolled in M.A Broadcast Journalism course of Makhanlal Chuturvedi University, Noida.[4][5]

Death

On 4 February 2021, Sharma died at age 40. He was ill the last three days before his death.[6] He was even diagnosed from Corona Virus, according to several reports the cause of his death was post COVID-19 complications.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]
