Vincent Rivera

Vincent Austin Blake "Bug" Rivera (born December 23, 1993) is an American football quality control coach for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). Before becoming a coach, Rivera was a college football running back/wide receiver at the University of California, Berkeley and San Diego University. He is the nephew of fellow Cal Bear and current Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera.[1]

College career

Rivera spent two seasons at the University of San Diego,[2] before transferring to Cal for the 2015 and 2016 seasons, finishing his career in Berkeley with 44 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns.[3]

He graduated with a degree in film and media studies.[4]

Coaching career

Rivera spent two seasons with the Carolina Panthers as defensive quality control coach before joining his uncle's staff in Washington for the 2020 season.[5]
