Viva Air Perú
Viva Airlines Perú S.A.C., stylized as Viva Air Peru or VivaAir.com, is a Peruvian low-cost carrier. [1] It was founded in 2017 and started its services on 9th May 2017.[2]

The airline was created by Irelandia Aviation, which also developed similar carriers Viva Air Colombia and Mexico's VivaAerobús, the latter in which it has no legal affiliation with the other "Viva" brands.[3]
History
At the beginning of November 2016, William Shaw (president of Viva Air Colombia) and José Castellanos (general director) announced the entry of a new low-cost airline in Peru, which will be operated in the first quarter of 2017 by the Peruvian company Viva Air Peru through the integration of the Viva Latinoamérica group and Irelandia Aviation. Both detailed that this new company will have two Airbus A320 loaned from Viva Air Colombia, at a cost of 60 soles per segment and with eight national destinations, estimating that a number of 700 thousand passengers will be transported in its first year of operation.
On January 19, 2017, the company obtained from the Ministry of Transport and Communications the operating permit for regular national air transport of passengers, cargo and mail for a period of four years. Also clarifying that they will wait for the delivery of the air operator certificate that is estimated to arrive before April 11. Likewise, José Castellanos also explained that the prices would be made by sections, at a cost of 60 soles for 30 minutes of flight.

On 20 June 2017, the airline announced they had signed an MOU with Airbus for an order of 15 A320-200 and 35 A320neo[7]
